Having studied semantics of imagination according to the celebrated references, the author has gone to propose the views of different philosophers on the difference between imagination and fantasy. Alfarabius has considered imagination and fantasy as one single faculty and thus he has rarely used the word imagination in his works. On the contrary, Avicenna has equally used the two terms in his works. In some of his works, as it is known, Suhrawardi has regarded imagination and fantasy two faculties with two different functions; however, in his Hikmatu al-Ishraq, he has considered imagination fantasy and estimation as one identical faculty assuming different names in different aspects. Following the celebrated scholars and in his early efforts, Mulla Sadra regarded imagination and fantasy two different faculties; nonetheless, due to the fact that he has contrasted the grades of understanding to the three grades of existing words, we can infer that in his view the two faculties must be one. In this article, after he has studied imagination and fantasy in the works of prominent Muslim philosophers of three major schools, the author has gone to answer the question of the ontology of imagination.

Due to his social innate nature and inner inclination towards perfection and salvation, man seeks for an appropriate ground to attain his lofty ideals. In the light of wisdom, a society may provide the best ground for all human beings in order for them to develop their potentialities in the course of their lofty perfections. Making use of the Islamic teachings and revelation and as the founder of the Islamic philosophy, Alfarabius went to propose the idea of his utopia in the course of elevating man to the highly positions. Alfarabius argues that merely a wisdom-centered society may attain the true happiness. In their research into Alfarabiu's works, the authors have explained the chief status of wisdom in that utopia, the necessity of it for both the citizens and the governor, and in the end they set forth Alfarabiu's ideal government.

In what follows, the author has dealt with the mind-boy relation. Different theories have been offered by the scholars in order to explain the relation, all of which can be classified into two major groups: monistic and dualistic. In the monistic view, mind and body are of one single substance with two different functions; in the dualistic view, however, mind and body are two different and separate substances with their own particular functions. The latter view has a background as long as history of philosophy backed by Plato of the ancient philosophers and Descartes among the later ones. Meanwhile, the majority of Muslim philosophers have the inclination towards the dualistic view one of the most prominent theorists of which is Avicenna. Since both views are open to serious criticisms, it is very challenging to choose one of them, though the dualistic view seem more justifiable.

Plato's three termed definition of epistemology "Justified true beliefs" has always been coming to the attention of epistemologists and critics. Each of the above three terms plays its particular role, though "justification" has the most importance of all. It is due to the element of "justification" that "a true belief" goes valued and embraced as "a true piece of knowledge". Nonetheless, there are many cases of "a true belief" generated by none-epistemic factors such as blindly following, imitation, inculcation by a group or some authorities, personal or social interests, and the like. By justification, Plato means a reasonable explanation or argument by which "a true belief" goes qualified enough to be embraced as "a true piece of knowledge". Different theories of justification have been proposed by the rationalist and empiricist schools most of which are open to a few objections. Nevertheless, the fundamentalist theory of justification seems less problematic thus more accepted by the epistemologists.

Allamah Amini's method in his criticisms of Salafism paves the reasonable and correct way to challenge Salafist movements providing the researchers with successful patterns of criticism. Viewing the diversity of the audiences, methods of criticism would vary from one group of people to another. Due to Allamah Amini's profound knowledge in Salafism and good skills in his methods of criticism and disputes, the authors have gone to hunt and restudy Amini's methods in his works. Those methods are: the criticism of contents and forms, knowing intentions, academic contempt and belittling, the rejection of accusations and ascriptions, raising questions and objections, the two edged blade i.e. placing the opponent on the horns of a dilemma, asking for a proof, counter-argument or antistrophon, and all-sided criticism.

Great scholars such as Avicenna, Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Muhaqhqheq Isfahani and al-Muzaffar have regarded the value propositions such as those suggesting the goodness of justice and evilness of tyranny as "the generally accepted propositions in the narrow sense" in contrast to "certainties". "The generally accepted propositions in the narrow sense" have no reality beyond the unanimous acceptance over them and are used as the base of polemics. Thus a controversy has been raised whether such a theory goes to oppose the celebrated theory of the Shite that the goodness of justice and evilness of tyranny in value propositions are essential and rationally defendable. In order to remove the apparent antinomy between the two theories, two justifications have been offered each of which carries a few evidences. The first justification suggests that what they mean by general acceptance of goodness of justice and evilness of tyranny is no more than the fact that they are accepted by the wise people. The second justification suggests that goodness and badness have two meanings. In their first meaning, they refer to the inner inclination of individuals with regard to justice and tyranny which is thus backed by the mere acceptance and allow of no correspondence or none-correspondence with realities. In their second meaning, they refer to some realities in man's perfection and thus allow of the correspondence or none-correspondence with realities, in the sense that justice is compatible with man's real character but tyranny isnt. Nasir al-Din al-Tusi has used the former meaning as the practical reason and the latter as the theoretical reason.
