In Farabian Utopia (al-Madinah al-Fadhilah), the happiness of individuals and society is due in no small part to art vs. rhetoric. The story is that the final objective of individuals and the public is to achieve intelligible happiness via comprehending intelligible truths. However, because of their habits and nature, the public cannot perceive intelligible truth. Via revelation, the prophet perceives all the truths, both in his intellect and in his imagination. Further, he knows the metaphors and analogies, through which he describes all intelligible truths and happiness.
In the second part of Farabian Utopia, there are the “religion-conveyers”, comprising missionaries, orators, poets, songwriters, writers, just to name a few. They represent intelligible happiness to public and individuals via sensory and imaginary forms as well as the power of suggestion. Incidentally, entertainment for Farabi is necessary for people’s happiness.

Understanding every issue in the world (whether immanence or transcendental) is dependent on a Subject that, firstly, came to existence through the body and secondly, possessed the ability to perceive the objects by the physical capabilities of the body. Thus, the body plays the fundamental role of “life”, “perception”, and “taking advantage” of the world; a role which although -in transcendental custom- has been overlooked, but in the Persian mystical literature, it is an issue worthy of reflection. Investigating the role of the body in mystical literature requires a proper philosophical approach which, firstly, relies on the matter of body and its perceptual powers; secondly, it should accept the imagery-based perceptions; and thirdly, its attitude towards the world should not be limited to objects and tangible nature; and should contain the linguistic, moral, cultural and artistic products in its definition of the world.
In the phenomenological approach of Merleau-Ponty, the duality of mind and body is essentially irrelevant and the perception of being is the result of the Intertwining of the senses, the perception and the human body with the universe. The universe which -beyond the tangible nature- includes the cultural and linguistic areas and their effects. According to Merleau-Ponty, there is no presence in the world and no perception of its objects without the body. Merleau-Ponty while refuting the "transcendental subject and Incorporeality" in his philosophy, designs a subject that is not separate from the body: “Flesh”. Thus, perception is a form of expression of meaning or action through the body, and the perceptual experience of each person -as a matter of pre-cognitive, real, physical, and therefore, as a kind of embodiment- reveals Invisible states of existence. States that even cover the areas of fantasy, affection and feeling, inner understanding, creativity, and artistic-literary creation.
Relying on this perspective, the mystical experiences are considered as interconnected matters with the body, and it doesn’t mean a conflict between the origin of the mystical world and the world of tradition: The mystic as “the Flesh” makes a common universe between tradition and body with intention and direction toward the perceptible phenomena and its effects, so that the mystical subject emerges in his living body and Appears in his literary work during the process of creation. In other words, the living universe of the mystic artist is the same world and tradition, but its work shows the origin of tradition as it appears on the flesh.
This article, while analyzing Merleau-Ponty's view toward the four issues of “the Subject”, “the World”, “the Other”, and “the God”, attempts to use his phenomenological method -after criticizing his atheistic attitude and rectifying it- then describe and explain the “process of body-experience and body-consciousness of mystic from the tradition (cognition and worship of the divine) and its presentation in the mystical literature”.

The Iranian art has different courses and in one of these periods, "the mystical period", this art is very influenced by Islamic mysticism. Islamic calligraphy, as the noblest and most sacred art of the Islamic world, is more than any other art associated with Islamic mysticism. And in all its features and content mirrored the mystical symbols and the social influence of the mystics. The inward look and acceptance of spirituality for letters and words in this art are influenced by Islamic mysticism. This research first initially identified three levels in the mystic approach to letters, then, by explaining its Qur'anic origins and its effects on the Islamic calligraphy, shows evidence of this effect. Evidence such as the type of writing of letters and Words, such as "الف", "م", "لا" and "الله" (“La”, “M”, “A” and “Allah”). To show that throughout history there has been a strong link between Islamic mysticism and calligraphy art.

Allegory and symbol In the Sohrevardi’s view differ from the view of new philosophers who perceive allegory as a contractual matter. In the Illuminationists’s view, Symbolic language expresses truth. Allegories are glimpses from the higher world’s truth that open window and hatch to the sky. Allegories are sometimes intense and sometimes weak in the expression of the truth, in other words, they are gradational. In addition to his storybooks (which are filled with allegories) Sohrevardi also has Philosophical books and the most important one of them is “Hikmat Al-Ishragh”. This book, as evident from its name, is not only is a philosophical book, but the book of Illuminationist wisdom that mainly is expressed with the language of light and darkness. This book is filled with allegories that Sohrevardi put in place for their seekers to find and understand them. For example; an Illuminationist philosopher speaks about light, darkness, talismans, idol, mirror, Imaginal world (Alam al-Mithal) etc., each with their own specific meaning. In this research, we try to discover and decipher some of these allegories.

Zarih, a means of protecting the tomb and an area for the attendance of the pligrims, has always been the subject of Shia. It is make in different kinds and with verity of art work in accordance with the position of the buried. In addition to Shia, other Muslims in Iran and also other Islamic countries pay attention to Zarih making. However, the heavy attendance of Shias and the attention of Shia scholars in the history of Islam in Iran, has made Zarih making one of the most productive art of the industries in each period, and this precision is to the point that certain principles and rules have been set for Zarih making. This article seeks to understand and present these principles and disciplines and also to answer the question : what are the main decorations and patterns and what concept they follow? The method of this research is descriptive analytical and the method of gathering information is through library and field research. Investigations and adapting them to the points of views of the Zarih artists showed that the use of features of Islamic art has been associated with specific purposes, in which way the construction and decoration of Zarih is a means to be closer to God.

The study on problem of motion in the film or motion picture and its perception, is one of the important issue in the context of film theory. Among film theories, a third kind of film theory has grown up: cognitive film theory that deals with issues like this. The prevailing view in film theory is that motion in the film is perceptual illusion. In this research, using by the library collection, and qualitative analysis method, I present a formulation for motion in the film by using Ibn Sina's philosophy (especially his perception theory) as philosophical base. The results of this study shows that Currie's formulation is for rejection of illusion and is not a positive formulation. But I show that in the context of Ibn Sina's philosophy, there can be a positive formulation for motion in the film. Also, this research shows that that the Islamic philosophy field has the ability of philosophical discussion about film.
