Violence against women is one of the main unpleasant aspects of the family life while implying a kind of abnormal and unconventional relation. Children and women are exposed to the domestic violence and within a vertical relation which is established by means of exercising power, force and denying the rights by the man individually and regardless of the women>s condition and characteristics, it causes physical, sexual and mental harms or depravity and torment during which both the individual and society are hurt and heavy expenses are inflicted on them. According to the sociological studies conducted in this respect worldwide, in many cases women cannot and do not want to ask for help from the police, courts of law and judiciary against their husbands because of experiencing fear, shame and a sense of humility, therefore they basically hide «domestic violence» against them. That is why they seek refuge with individuals and magazines that listen to their grievances and help them indirectly. One of these magazines which have maintained continuous relation with their readers and audience every week is «Zan-e Rooz» (Woman of the Day). Pages of all issues of the magazine on «We counsel with you» and «Incoming stories» which reflect on domestic violence, have undergone a qualitative research and content analysis in three important historical junctures (wartime, reconstruction era and modern age) in order to find the nature, time of occurrence and tool of violence and the extent, reasons, types, result, … of this phenomenon. Eventually, the article predicts ways of reducing violence and introduces the role of the policewoman as one of the main and legal axes while clarifying how the policewoman would be able to play a role in reducing violence against women.

The present article deals with the issue of security of women in cities. It therefore addresses general factors of women>s vulnerabilities against the crimes and then analyzes official and unofficial ways to prevent them. Emphasis is then placed on further efficiency of the non-official organizations in reducing insecurity and violence against women, and practical mechanisms are examined.O ne of the mechanisms is to establish precinct groups to encounter with insecurity of women and reduce their vulnerability. Eventually, through reviewing successful experiences of other countries such as Britain in this area, potentiality for establishment of precinct groups for women>s security in mosques, establishment of centers to support women victims (or those at risk) at this religious institution and the benefit of close relations between neighbors and residents of a particular precinct has been emphasized. The article then points to the role of these groups in conveying women>s security problems to the city managers, thus making useful changes in the public places and utilities.

The ability to maintain a successful relation is part of the most important skills which policewoman cadets have to learn. This ability would determine the possibility of their success. Graduates of Kowsar Higher Education Center should be able to maintain and manage desirable communications with all people of the same and opposite sexes as well as innocents and criminals, and enjoy very high flexibility in line with their duties.Whereas the most important asset of the disciplinary organization and indeed the law enforcement force is its manpower, Kowsar Complex in line with educational need assessments conducted a research on spiritual-mental conditions, familial-social environment and factors involved in the formation of the spirit of communicative-social interaction of the manpower in order to offer educational programs which would best suite the needs of the cadets and also with the aim of boosting the expected abilities. In the first step the research was conducted toward studying and identifying the factors involved in creation of the spirit of social and communicative interaction of the policewomen cadets in order to lay the cornerstone of further studies. The research included two groups of approved cadets and graduates with the same number. Results show that both groups have often been grown up in desirable environmental and familial conditions and enjoy acceptable communicative abilities. However, practical communication skills should be offered to them and should continue throughout their education in order to achieve ideal conditions.

The present article deals with the history of the presence of policewomen in the police departments of the United States of America, and examines their role and activities in the police occupations. The article describes the role and presence of the policewomen as “limited and trivial” in the wake of the strong and weak points, problems and hindrances, and future of the policewomen on the basis of the existing statistics and figures, and points to the advantages of the presence of women in the police activities both qualitatively and quantitatively through criticizing the function of the police departments in America. An increase in the number of women in the police departments has caused their further and extensive presence in the society and from qualitative point of view too, it has built further trust of female victims of the society in the policewomen, thus leading to their cooperation and calling for help from the police in critical conditions. Minimum use of violence and the outstanding role of the policewomen in the face of the familial violence and solution of the problems have been mentioned as other advantages of the women presence in the police activities. The article also attaches importance to the media and associations at regional, national and international levels and their role in the further involvement of women in the police activities. The associations in terms of theory and practice are considered as supportive institutions and they are among the important supportive factors which back the rights of the policewomen in the United States of America.Expansion of the policewomen networks along with the specialized associations and institutes with the purpose of supporting them would also pave the way for their massive presence in the police activities. Peter Horne describes discriminations and sexual abuse as well as the low salary of the policewomen as the reasons for their decreased presence and activities in the higher ranks of the police departments. Meanwhile, he draws promising prospects for the policewomen which indeed are sometimes accompanied with some doubts and a slow growth
