subsequent to attacks on Twin Towers of World Trade Organization (WTO) on September 11th 2001, the orientation and function of America's defensive-security policy underwent a principal volte-face from deterrence strategy (1945-1990) and strategic ambiguity and fuzziness (1990-2001) to preemptive attack and deterrent war. This research sets out to scrutinize and shed light on United States of America's defensive-security policy towards withstanding and tackling asymmetrical threats in post-September 11th epoch during Bush tenure of presidential office. After September 11th, the USA perceives terrorism and weapons of mass destruction as the major and grave threats facing its security. This research endeavors to probe into nature and forms of new defensive-security policy making of America during Bush's government term of office. Bush's government believes that deterrence policy Cold War is of little avail and malfunctions in confronting asymmetrical threats and dynamicity and mobility in defensive function and behavior of the America concerning Middle East and neighboring regions has incremented. Considering all above-mentioned issues, it is concluded that after September 11th the prevailing view on new international atmosphere is neo-conservatism thought which is manifested and materialized in George W. Bush's policies. Bush's doctrine of battle against international terrorism and weapons of mass destruction is preemptive war in line with confronting proterrorism countries, regime change and overthrow and democratization as Iraq and Afghanistan are prime examples of this approach.

As a library research, this study is an attempt to investigate futurology methods and introduce it to interested entities. Given the newness of the approach, futurology research centers were established in some of the universities and military academies to the extent that even doctoral course in futurology is offered in Imam Khomeini International University. Thinking about future and its events traces back to a long time as people in all periods of the history were interested in appreciating future. Once they believed unable to determine their future, but in the course of the history the idea flourished that our daily actions determine our tomorrow. Consequently, motivation to understand future was spread every where including Iran.

Modern societies are primarily characterized by an emphasis on the concept of innovation and its significance in the course of being developed and sustainable. They can obtain competitive advantages provided that new products and processes have already been developed and applied. to this end, this study tries to investigate the concept of innovation along with its types, process, capacity and levels.

Nowadays, information technology (IT) has foot in various fields of human requirements of which its application in training is one of the most significant. On the other hand, the extent and nature of incorporating virtual training as a product of IT differ among states, which has motivated pertinent studies too. Martins and Kellerman’s hold that success in virtual training and application of a new system mainly depends on the learner's attraction towards it. To create positive incorporation attitude, various parameters and seals have been suggested in various models (such as TAM, TAM2, UTAUT, est.). However this study is concerned with just human factor as to such an analysis and varimax rotation featured in two principal factors and five secondary axes. The findings sustained that human factor encompasses personality factors (personal IT innovations, computer stresses)and some other factors (including social norms, individual differences, experience and interactive attitude).

All situations originating from a military operation are conflicting in nature. Each conflicting side makes any possible measure in order to deter the opposing side to succeed. Even making decision on weapon selection or how to use it in the field and making decision on strategy selection in general are conflicting in terms of situations. Any respective decision should be motivated by the assumption that the measures of the off passing side will be the worst of all. Hence making sound decisions under such circumstances would be the most rational one. Competitive strategies, a subcategory of decision making theory based on arithmetic theory, are always concerned with competitive situations, two states, political parties, economic groups or two persons opposing each other so that each can take advantages. Such an orientation paves the grounds for each competing side to make sound decision so as to fulfil its objectives. Rectangular competitions summed up zero are characterized by appropriate specifications in those kinds of competitions being encompassed by military fractions from both sides. In this study, mini-max principle was studied as a fundamental principle in the competitions which possesses standing point. Mixed strategy through introducing a probability vector. Algebraic and descriptive methods aimed at making sound decision in the competitions of the latter category and also those of 2×m or n×2 types were also investigated in this study. Implications of all of the approaches in military contexts have also been exemplified.
