صفحه 1هدفهدف پژوهش حاضر، سنجش میزان ربط تصاویر بازیابی شده در موتورهای جستجوی یاهو، گوگل، پیک سرچ و فلیکر به زبان فارسی، براساس میزان جامعیت و مانعیت نتایج بازیابی شده و معرفی بهترین موتور جست وجو و ارائه یک الگوی بهینه است.
روش پژوهش: نوع پژوهش کاربردی به روش پیمایشی، و داده ها از طریق مشاهده مستقیم گردآوری شده و با استفاده از منطق انتخاب واژه ها، منطق عملیات بولی تجزیه و تحلیل شده است. این پژوهش در سه مرحله، ابتدا واژگان انتخاب شده، براساس منطق عملیات بولی در موتور جست وجوهای نامبرده جست وجو شدند، و سپس نتایج به دست آمده از جست وجو، با توجه به نیاز اطلاعاتی پژوهشگر و عبارت جست وجو، مقایسه و تعداد تصاویر مرتبط در بیست نتیجه اول مشخص و در آخر با استفاده از فرمول، میزان ربط نتایج محاسبه گردید.یافته هایافته ها نشان داد که موتور جست وجوی یاهو با 235/ 32 میزان جامعیت و 75/ 53 میزان مانعیت، موتور جست وجوی گوگل با 80/ 14 میزان جامعیت و25/ 41 میزان مانعیت، موتور جست وجوی پیک سرچ با 81 /12 میزان جامعیت و 25/ 26 میزان مانعیت و موتور جست وجوی فلیکر با 14/ 40 میزان جامعیت و 25/ 41 میزان مانعیت نتایج را بازیابی نمود.نتیجه گیرینتایج حاصل در پاسخ به تعیین میزان ربط بیست نتیجه اولیه با توجه به سنجش میزان جامعیت و مانعیت نشان داد که موتور جست وجوی یاهو بیشترین مقدار مانعیت را به خود اختصاص داده است، و عملکرد بهتری نسبت به دیگر موتورهای جست وجو دارد. در پایان برای افزایش ربط جامع و مانع در بازیابی، نظام بازیابی تصاویر مبتنی بر متن و محتوا پیشنهاد گردید.

صفحه 13هدفاین پژوهش به منظور شناسایی مهارت های حرفه ای و شخصی مدیران کتابخانه های تخصصی از دو دیدگاه انجام گرفته است.
روش پژوهش: روش پژوهش از نوع توصیفی- پیمایشی است و ابزار گردآوری داده ها پرسش نامه ای محقق ساخته است که مهارت های مدیریتی را در سه مولفه مهارت های ادراکی، انسانی و فنی بیان می کند. جامعه آماری شامل مدیران کتابخانه های تخصصی استانداری های کشور (31) و استادان علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی کشور (170) می باشد که طبق فرمول کوکرال (118) نفر به عنوان نمونه در نظر گرفته شدند. روایی توسط تعدادی از اساتید مورد تایید قرار گرفت و پایایی آن با آلفای کرونباخ 94 /0 تایید شد. داده ها با نرم افزار اس پی اس اس و آنالیز واریانس و تی مستقل مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته هانتایج نشان داد از دیدگاه استادان بالاترین اولویت ها در مهارت های مدیریتی مهارت های انسانی 35/ 4، ادراکی 17/ 4 و فنی 93/ 3 بوده و هم چنین از دیدگاه مدیران کتابخانه ها بالاترین اولویت ها مربوط به مهارت های انسانی 45/ 4، فنی 24/ 4 و ادراکی 09/ 4 می باشد.نتیجه گیریبین دیدگاه استادان کتابداری و مدیران کتابخانه های تخصصی در خصوص مهارت های (حرفه ای و شخصی) اختلاف معنی دار وجود ندارد.

صفحه 27هدفمدیریت کیفیت در کتابخانه ها و مراکز خدمات اطلاع رسانی، توسط اکثریت محققان در مفاهیم کیفیت، اصول مدیریت کیفیت، فرایندهای مرتبط و محدودیت های آن مورد توجه خاص قرار گرفته است. لذا، پژوهش حاضر با هدف مقایسه بررسی موانع ساختاری استقرار مدیریت کیفیت در کتابخانه های دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی همدان و دانشگاه بوعلی سینا انجام شد.
روش پژوهش: نوع پژوهش در این مطالعه توصیفی – تحلیلی، و از نوع مقطعی، و جامعه پژوهش مدیران و کارکنان شاغل در کتابخانه های دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی و بوعلی سینای همدان بودند. ابزار مورد استفاده برای جمع آوری اطلاعات در این تحقیق پرسش نامه بودکه شامل 29 سوال (10 سوال رسمیت، 9 سوال پیچیدگی و 10 سوال تمرکز) بود. پس از تکمیل پرسش نامه ها، اطلاعات گردآوری شده با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری اس پی اس اس تجزیه و تحلیل گردید. تجزیه و تحلیل نتایج و تست فرضیه ها بر مبنای آزمون آماری کای – دو و مقایسه میانگین در بعد آمار استنباطی انجام شد.یافته هاطبق نتایج به دست آمده رسمیت در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی به میزان 3/ 47 و در دانشگاه بوعلی سینا به میزان7/52، پیچیدگی در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی به میزان 4/ 46 و در دانشگاه بوعلی سینا به میزان 6/ 53، تمرکز در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی به میزان 3/ 46 و در دانشگاه بوعلی سینا به میزان 7/ 53 می باشد. در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رسمیت با میانگین 84/ 2 و انحراف معیار 6/ 0، پیچیدگی با میانگین 35/ 2 و انحراف معیار 47 /0، تمرکز با میانگین 89/ 2 و انحراف معیار7/ 0 و نیز در دانشگاه بوعلی سینا رسمیت با میانگین 3 و انحراف معیار 48/ 0، پیچیدگی با میانگین 029/ 2 و انحراف معیار 49/ 0، تمرکز با میانگین 35/ 2 و انحراف معیار 98/ 0 برآورد گردیده است.نتیجه گیریطبق تجزیه و تحلیل داده های این پژوهش، در مجموع کمترین موانع ساختاری استقرار مدیریت کیفیت در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی به میزان 47/ 2، و بیشترین موانع در دانشگاه بوعلی سینا به میزان 71/ 2 می باشد، و هر چه مقدار درصد موانع کمتر باشد، محیط برای استقرار مدیریت کیفیت مناسب تر است. بنابراین دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان واجد شرایط برای استقرار مدیریت کیفیت می باشد.

Page 1PurposeThe aim of this paper is introduction several image search engine and assess the relevance Images retrieved by yahoo, Google, Picsearch and Flickr according recall and precision. So, precede obtained result from four search engine and rate of relevance with search query.MethodologyResearch method was survey and For the purpose of this paper, four search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Picsearch and flickr were studied directly through the method observation. The logic of words chosen was Boolean. This search was done in three steps. First, terminology had been chosen based on logic operation in the search engine being mentioned urinary search and then the results of the search with regard to the need information research and phrase search comparison and the number of corresponding pictures in the twenty first and clear at the end of the formula by using the amount of relevant the results.Findingsfinding showed that search engine Yahoo with 32.235 the amount of recall and 53.75 the amount of precision, Google with 14.80 the amount of recall and 41.25 the amount of precision, Picsearch with 12.81 the amount of recall and 26.25 the amount of precision and Flickrwith 40.14 the amount of recall and 41.25 the amount of precision retrieval.ConclusionThe results evaluation revealed that Search engines retrieve different results in Precision and recall in Persian. Yahoo has the maximum amount precision in retrieved image. Page 13PurposeThe present study aims to investigate the personal and professional skills of special library administrators from the view of provincial governorates libraries administrators of the country and library professors according to their management skills.Methodologythe research Method was descriptive survey. For collecting data, the researcher has made a questionnaire that determines the required management skills of managers in the three components of cognitive, humanity and technical skills. The population of this study included all the provincial specialized libraries’ managers (31) and library and information sciences’ professors (170); for the first group of population, because of the limited number of samples, Cochran and for the second group of population census method were used. Validity confirmed by Some Professor and It’s Reliability Confirmed by %94 Cronbach Alpha, Data were analyzed by using SPSS Software and the inferential statistics like independent sample t-test and ANOVA were used too.FindingsFindings showed that the highest priorities in terms of management skills were humanity skills (4.35), perceptual skills (4.17) and technical skills with mean of (3.93). In addition, from the library managers’ point of view, the highest priorities are humanity skills (4.45), technical skills (4.24) and perceptual skills with the mean of (4.09).ConclusionThere was not a statistically significant difference between library professors and special libraries managers’ point of views according to their personal and professional skills.Keywords: Management skills, Personal skills, Professional skills, Humanity skills, Provincial governorates library managers, Library, Information Science professors, Special libraries

The research population were Managers And Staff In Libraries of Hamedan Mediacal University And Bou Ali Sina. A questionnaire was used to collect data that was consisting of 29 questions (10 questions official, 9 questions and 10 questions focusing on complexity). After completing the questionnaire, collected data were analyzed using statistical software Spss. The analysis is based on statistical hypothesis testing comparing K 2a And the following statistics were performed.FindingsRecognition of the University Of Bu-Ali Sina was 47.3 and 52.7 complexity In Medical University was 46.4 And 53.6 In Bou-Ali Sina University, focus In Medical University was 46.3 and 53.7 In Bou-Ali Sina University, In Medical University recognizes mean was 2.84 And Sd 60. complexity with mean was 2.35 and Sd 47. the mean concentrations Of 2.89 And Sd 70.Bu Ali Sina University recognized with mean 3 And Sd 48., complexity with mean 2.029, and Sd 49, concentration with mean 2.35 aAnd Sd 98.ConclusionThe data analyzed in this study, total quality management at medical university of structural barriers minimum 2.47 and the greatest barrier in Bu Ali Sina Rate Was 2.71.The amount of obstacles is less. The environment suitable for quality management. Page 39PurposeGiving an introduction to the extent of Fars province public libraries librarians’ access to the required context to prosper their creativities based on Oldham model was the aim of this study.MethodologyThe present study was a practical type. The statistical population of the research included the librarians in Fars province public libraries. Questionnaire was used as the data gathering tool. The T-test, Covariance and Variance analyses were used, as data analysis method, to evaluate the correlation between the contextual conditions for prospering creativity and its components.FindingsThere was a more than intermediate level of required conditions for prospering the librarians’ creativity in the Fars province public libraries. The individual differences among the librarians in terms of professional, psychic and mental conditions were affected by the professional context at a level more than the Fars Province’s average. The librarians’ positive mental and psychic was affected by the non-professional context at a level lower than the Province’s average. The individual differences in personalities among the librarians were at a level higher than the Province average. The individual professional differences among the librarians were at a level higher than the Province’s average. The librarians’ tendency to present and share their creative viewpoints was at a level higher than the Province’s average. Originality/Value: Investigating the conditions for prospering creativities among the public libraries’ librarians and managers may provide a context for the librarians’ new and useful ideas with the opportunity to increase the productivity of libraries and users’ satisfaction.Keywords: Public library, Creativity, Oldham model, Effectiveness

Page 49PurposeThis research aimed to investigate the awareness and the usage of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences librarians who used the existing full-text databases in the homepage of the central library website. This study tried to find the problems and barriers which resulted in the difficulties in using these databases as well as providing some new approaches to disseminate more and more information to the end users by librarians.MethodologySurvey method, with applied approach, was used as a research method. The population was all employed librarians of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences libraries. Researcher-made questionnaire was used as a data-collecting tool and SPSS 16.0 used to analyze data. Central and scatter index statistics has been used to answer the research questions.FindingsThe findings showed that the average scores of the librarians’ familiarity with full text electronic databases was 51.52 (Std Deviation=26.4). T-test indicates that there was not any significant difference between the awareness score and the sexuality as well as the usability score and the sexuality; but there was a significant difference between the awareness score and the rate of the usability of full text databases. Also the spearman correlation showed that there was a direct significant difference between the education levels of the librarians and their awareness, familiarity and usability scores. In this case, Elsevier had the highest rank among English databases.ConclusionThe results showed that the rate of the awareness and the usage of the existing full-text databases by Isfahan University of Medical Sciences was more than average. It can be seen that the librarians’ sexuality didn’t have any impact on their awareness and usages but there was a significant difference between their academic disciplines and their usages and awareness. The highest rate of the awareness and usages belonged to the domestic databases. It can be concluded that there was a positive relationship between the periods of awareness of librarians toward these databases and their usages.Keywords: full text databases, librarians, awareness, usability, homepage, central library, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences

Page 61PurposeThe aim of present study was comparison of job satisfaction, burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of personal accomplishment) and organizational commitment of male and female librarians by controlling degree, age and job precedent in university libraries of Tehran city.MethodologyThe research method was causal-comparative and the sample consisted of 128 (62 male and 64 female) librarians in university libraries of Tehran city selected based on classified randomized sampling with proportional allocation. Data was obtained using the Maslach & Jackson Burnout Inventory (MJBI), Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) and Job-In General (JIG); Then MANCOVA was used to analyze the data.FindingsFindings of this study showed that there are significant differences between two groups in job satisfaction, burnout, depersonalization and lack of personal accomplishment; but findings of this study showed that there were no significant differences between two groups in organizational commitment and emotional exhaustion.ConclusionResult showed job satisfaction of female librarians was more than male librarians. Page 75PurposeThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the user interface of Magiran& SID databases to define their compatibility to Nielsen criteria, and the fundamental problems of user interface based on expert user view.MethodologyThis applied research has been carried out based on a heuristics evaluation. Five experts/academicians in knowledge and information science, who were selected through a theoretical sampling and accessible approach, evaluated the aforementioned databases by utilizing a checklist including 10 Nielsen main components and 115 sub-components. For each component was considered severity rating. Multiplying the score of each component in severity rating were analyzed in excel. Finally for each principal component was calculated the sum and the percentage of scores.FindingsResults showed that the Magiran database could obtain 239.5 scores and SID database got 167.75 out of 402 scores of the sub-components. Furthermore findings explain that the level of compatibility between Magiran database with 10 component of Nielsen is 59.73 (slightly more than average), and is 43.65 in the SID database (less than average).ConclusionAmong the 10 components of Nilsson which studied, in Magiran database element of Consistency and Standards showed more compatibility with the criteria in compliance with 90.5 percent of criteria, and the element of Flexibility and Minimalist Design in compliance with 9.7 percent showed minimum compatibility. In SID database the element of Match between System and the Real World showed maximum compatibility through obtaining 84.2 points, and the element of Help users Recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors showed minimum compatibility with a score of zero.Keywords: User interface, evaluative research, heuristic evaluation, databases, Magiran, Science Information Database, SID

Page 87PurposeThis study investigatesیthe growth and development trend of scientific productions (articles) by Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman’s faculty members in the citation database of Web of Sciences. The main purpose of this study was to identify and determine the scientific productions of the Shahid Bahonar University’s faculty members.MethodologyThe present study applied scientometric research method to conduct the study. The data were collected form The WoS database and analyzed by EXCEL and SPSS soft wares. The statistical analysis was based on descriptive statistics. First, all records produced by the Shahid Bahonar University’s faculty members during 2000-2011 and indexed by the WoS database were retreived. Then, analytical report for all indices were obtained and was entered into SPSS. For the citation analysis of the records, a citation report was produced for each faculty member and then the citation were saved in personal computer with full text format and finally analized by SPSS.FindingsThe average annual growth rate of scientific productions of Shahid Bahonar University during the period of 2000-2011 showed an acceptable growth, especially with its ascending move since 2004, which could significantly improve the ranking of Shahid Bahonar University among other universities of the country. Data analysis showed that the Department of Sciences ranked first as the most productive department; most of documents and productions of which were done in chemistry faculty. Considering the most prominent researchers of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman in terms of number of documents, number of references and average reference for each document, we could say that fields of chemistry, mechanics and statistics were the scientific production engines of this university.ConclusionThe results of this study showed that Shahid Bahonar University had had 1356 records during the examined years. Also, the average growth rate of this university was 33. 6%. Considering the produced documents and received citations, Mohammadali Taher, Iran Sheykh Shoaei and Ahmad Sheykhi occupied the top most places based on productivity measure. Nearly all the documents were published in English. Considering the recruitment of new faculty members and the speed of the Shahid Bahonar University’s scientific production growth, one can say that this university will have a significant growth in terms of number of records in coming years.Keywords: Scientometrics, Scientific Production, Citation Analysis, Faculty Mmebers, Web of Science
