The goal of this study was to determine the role of job crafting in predicting job engagement, job satisfaction and affective commitment. Participants included 310 employees from an industrial organization who completed Job Crafting Scale (Tims et al., 2012),Work Engagement Scale (Schaufeli et al., 2002), Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1985), and Affective Commitment Scale (Meyer and Allen, 1991). The results shown that there are significant simple and multiple relationships between subscales of job crafting (increasing the level of structural resources, increasing the level of social resources, increasing the level of challenging job demands, and decreasing the level of hindrance job demands), and job engagement, job satisfaction and affective commitment. In addition, the results of multiple regression technique showed that 62% of the variance of job engagement, 55% of the variance of job satisfaction, and 31% of the variance of affective commitment was explained by facets of job crafting.

  • Comparison of Executive Function in Nonverbal Learning Disorders
    Page 2
This study was designed to examine the existence of deficits of executive function (EF) in children with nonverbal learning disabilities (NVLD).
    Methods
20 NVLD students (8 boys and 12 girls) from Tehran, Iran, aged 11 to 14 years (M = 12.7 years, SD = 1.11). The Normal student comparison group consisted of 20 normal students (9 boys and 11 girls), aged 11 to 14 years (M = 11.10 years, SD = 2.1). For assessing NVLD we used the original Wechsler Intelligence Scale (Wechsler, 1949) and EF. The Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF), developed by Goya et al. (1996), was used to measure EF in both groups
    Results
Children with NVLD were less able to recognize the ability to focus, shift, and memorize, organize information and distribute attention. Despite the differences in the development of executive functions, they were robust and virtually identical across the two samples.
    Conclusion
EF deficits were more broadly defined in nonverbal learning disorder students. The results of this research should help parents and educators understand the learning that students provide outreach services to increase executive functions.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between narcissism and aggression in male bodybuilders. This research was a descriptive correlational one in which the participants were all Tabrizian male bodybuilders who had regularly attended at least one sustained year and at least two days per week at the gym. The subjects were 161 volunteer athletes with an average age of 24.96±6.528. The Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI) Ruskin & Hall (1979) and Ahvaz Aggression Inventory (AAI) Zahedifar (1375) were used to collect the data. Regression analysis wasused to analyze data. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a significant positive relationship between narcissism and each dimension of aggression. In this relationship only self-sufficiency, one component of the adaptive narcissism scale had no significant association with aggression components. Finally, narcissism can be a particularly important factor in the occurrence of aggression in society.

The purpose of the accomplished research was to examine the correlation between impulsivity, loneliness, social support and suicide ideation in Ahwaz metropolitan male drug dependents. The sample included 200 of Ahwaz Municipal addicted men who were selected randomly via a multi-stage sampling procedure. The Barratt Impulsivity Scale (BIS-11), Loneliness Inventory (UCLA), Social Support Appraisals Scale (SSA) and Beck Scale of Suicide Ideation (BSSI) were administrated as data sources. The research was designed to be a correlation study. To analyze data the Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regressions were applied as statistical procedures. The results revealed that impulsivity, loneliness, and social support were significantly associated with suicide ideation. Multiple regression outputs also indicated that the loneliness significantly predicted suicide ideation in Ahwaz metropolitan male addicts.

The present study examined the role of identity statuses in predicting attitudes toward love among married people. For this purpose two hundred married people (96 males and 104 females)from five different regions across Qazvin City were selected by convenient method. They answered the 24-item love attitude scale of Hendrick & Hendrick and the 32-item Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity status-2nd version (EOM-EIS-2). The result from administrating the Pearson''s correlation test and analysis of stepwise regression showed that there is direct correlation between achievement of identity with the types of love attitudes like Eros,Storage, Agape and Pragma. There were significant correlationsbetweenMoratorium withLudusandAgape, and betweenforeclosure identity status and Storage. The results also showed that achievement and foreclosure identity statuses were able to predict love attitudes in married women and achievement identity status was able to predict the attitudes toward love in married men. So, the predictive role of identity statuses for love attitudesof married men and women was confirmed. This research demonstrated that identity statuses were correlated with love attitudesas a basis of intimacy and thus it reconfirms Erikson''s theory about the role of identity in the formation of the fundamental basis of intimacy (love) in married people, so a strong ego development is basic to form mutual successful relationships.

This study has been done to investigate the relationship between early maladaptive schemas with marital satisfaction.Seventy Iranian couples were selected by the random sampling method andcompleted the short form of Young Schema (YSQ), Hazan and Shaver Attachment Style (HSAS) and the Enriching and Nurturing Relationship Issues and Communication and Happiness (ENRICH)Questionnaires. Ambivalent attachment styles had significant associations with marital satisfaction, satisfaction of communication and idealistic distortion. Avoidant attachment styles had a significant association only with marital satisfaction. The ambivalent attachment style acts as a mediator between the first domain of early maladaptive schemasandmarital satisfaction, satisfaction of communication and idealistic distortion.

The main purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between job stress and job interests among Kharazmi University personnel. The sample consisted of 100 female and 100 male employees who were selected through a simple random sampling method from the employees of Kharazmi University at Karaj campus. The participants responded to two questionnaires i.e., Job Stress Inventory (Rice, 1992), and Job Interests Inventory (Holland, 1987). The results indicated significant correlations between the overall job stress and job interests (activities, experiences, jobs, and self-assessment), interpersonal relations and job interests, and physical condition and job interests. Moreover, there were significant differences between the female and male employees regarding the variables studied in this work but no difference was observed between single and married employees.
