Several differing figures exist pertaining to the boarders and boundaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with different computed areas. Therefore, based on the geographical forces, mission and organization, with the aim of preventing any disagreements, taking relative consensus, scientific literature, research and development into consideration, it is proposed for the first time to determine the area and identify the borders as precisely as possible. Data from Iran''s neighboring countries, with precise geometric patterns, software and international standards. 1:50000 maps cover the country in this direction were measured and calculated over the borders and the environment¡ Our country''s borders with neighboring countries and were calculated separately and in most cases based on surveying the land and water borders between border signs with neighboring countries And obtained islands and waters of the total land area of 1,873,959 km figure. While the borders and boundaries separate land, water and marine calculated separately and neighboring countries and the figure for 8574 km along the borders. The water area of the first countries to separate domestic water, and land.... And calculate the total area of the country was also applied.

The increasing rate of growth of the world population, has created critical impacts on the natural environment of earth, namely among them, unrestrained consumption of energy, destruction of forests, and extinction of plant and animal species. This process has attracted the attention of a majority of experts on the issue of «sustainable development». According to this doctrine, attaining the highest level of sustainability is a must for the survival of human society. It seems that, the concept of sustainable development can be quiet applicable with goals and objectives of modern architecture and city planning. Sustainability is not confined to the issues of environment, it is rather commensurate with the economic dynamics of a liveable habitat and social justice. In general, development of a sustainable habitat can be defined as a development which may bring about social and ecological health. In this paper, after a brief review of the origins of the concept of sustainability, its practical definition and applicability in the city planning, we concentrate Masuleh, a prototype of villages in Iran as habitats embodied with a traditional sustainability. This village has met the criteria of sustainability, a prime cause for its endurance after so many decades and centuries, by being able to respond to the environmental threats confronting its physical, social, and economic existence. We conclude that this traditional habitat, provides a suitable model for designing the sustainable habitats in Iran.

Water is used by living organisms in different forms and qualities. But in most points through the world and Iran we are encountered with potable water shortage, particularly in Iran in central wells and Loot desert with precipitation about 50mm annually are considered as low precipitation points in the country and such precipitations are very limited in average globally. This indicates that in some regions, Iran, particularly southern and central parts and desert boundaries such as Kashan encounters with low precipitation. On the other side, 25 million ha out of 165 million ha of Iran’s area are classified among saline lands that by development of irrigation agriculture, particularly in the regions lacking drainage systems of lands and deserts, particularly enjoying from traditional methods, the saline lands are increasing day to day and water sources are also reducing and Kashan town is also suffering from this crisis. Because Iran has been located in the dry and semi dry climate, therefore, about 800 BC, for supplying their needed water, Iranian decided to make aqueducts. The average annual precipitation of Kashan is about 140.3mm and potential evaporation in this region is about 2181 annually (Abtahi, 2001). This forced Kashan people, like other regions of Iran to exploit from ground water that are relatively stable sources called “Aqueduct”. Kashan where has 628 aqueducts, possessed aqueducts more than what can be seen today. For example, in Kashan desert, there were 252 aqueducts but most of them lost due to draught and desert winds and earthquakes. On 1965, they reduced to 130 and on 1981 reduced to 62and in recent year they reduced to 46 and this tragic situation results from increasingly digging the deep and semi deep wells as well as harsh expediencies and lack of supervision on ground water sources. Therefore, for maintaining the sustainable development of this old town as well as preventing water crisis, it is required to find a cure and this paper aims to deal with it.

A variety of environmental goods and services provided by lakes make them vulnerable to human demand. Society’s demand for economic gains has contributed to the deterioration of water quality and aesthetic value of lakes. Damdama Lake is facing multifold pressure due to domestic and agricultural discharge, intermixing of storm and sewage water and congestion of areas in and around the lake. Different ghats of the lake exhibited variations in physicochemical parameters through a period of two decades. Most of the parameters were found to be slightly higher than the IS permissible limit (IS-10500:1991).This paper addresses two prime concerns – the water quality status of the lake and identifying the indicators of sustainable development to facilitate operationalizing and evaluating the concept at Damdama. It is concluded that in its present form, tourism in the study area does not meet the criteria for true sustainable development. With little or no interest and intervention from the government, tourists often tend to mishandle the resources. The ecological degradation is clearly visible in the quality of lake water which has deteriorated with time. More involvement of the community in tourism planning, could unlock significant potential for developing ecotourism that brings sustainable economic benefits to the community and promotes environmental protection.

For data collection, a questionnaire, designed by the researcher, has been used. To validate the questionnaire, its face validity has been taken into consideration, and the reliability of the questionnaire has been calculated separately for each CSR dimension using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. To analyze the data, the fuzzy TOPSIS method has been used. The results show that Homa Hotel in Bandar Abbas ranks first among the hotels in regard to CSR dimensions.
