In this paper, the nonlinear vibrations of composite plate forced by carbon nanotube have been investigated. The equations of vibrational motion have been solved by multiple scales method. For free vibrations of nanocomposite plates, natural nonlinear frequencies have been calculated. Furthermore, the effects of damping factor, volume fraction of carbon nanotube, and the ratio of thickness to dimension of plates in natural frequency has been investigated. Our results highlight that nonlinear natural frequency of plate increases by increasing the ratio of thickness to the dimensions of plates. Moreover, a decrease in the proportion of thickness to the length of the plate resulted in a downfall in the falling trend of the domain.

In this paper, Bi0.85-xLa0.15YxFeO3 [BL0.15YxFO, (x = 0, 0.03, 0.1, 0.15)] nanoparticels were synthesized by the tartaric acid modified sol-gel technique. This materials have perovskite structure. In perovskite lattice, such distortions change the B-O-B bond angles and there fore are expected to affect magnetic and electronic properties of this lattice. The crystallographic phase analysis was performed for x = 0.1 and x = 0.15 with the help of FULLPROF program and showed the crystal structure transition from rhombohederal to the orthorhombic. The results of VSM analysis showed that remnant magnetization and maximum magnetization decreases with increasing the percent of doping.

In this study, yttrium iron garnet nanoparticles with the chemical formula Y3Fe5O12 under both atmospheric and nitrogen atmosphere were prepared by microemulsion method. Structural and magnetic properties were studied by XRD, Far- FTIR, TEM, VSM, for termal was annealing investigation at 700 oC – 1100 oC. Phase formation were studied by X-Ray diffraction XRD. X-Ray diffraction analysis XRD show the samples at the temperature 800 oC and 900 oC are single phase. The average crystallite sizes under two atmospheres nitrogen and atmosphere were estimated to be in the range of 11 to 29 nm. Far- infrared spectrometry Far-FTIR show that main bond of in the range of 550-650 cm-1 is tetrahedron and bond in a range 300-400 cm-1 is related to the octahedral sites. Image of transmission electron microscopy TEM shows that the particle size distribution is uniform. Yttrium iron garnet prepare magnetic we also studied by use of a vibrating sample magnetometer VSM. In this analysis at first, saturation magnetization of samples increases to temperature 900 oC and then decreased. These chenges were attributed to the increase of phase side effects and lack of oxygen at higher temperatures.

Chromium oxide (Cr2O3) nanoparticles was prepared by thermal decomposition of Cr(acac)3. Prior to decomposition, Cr(acac)3 precursor first mixed with polyethylene glycol in ethanol solvent and then the solvent was evaporated by mild heating. Finally, the produced solid mixture was converted to Cr2O3 nanoparticles with thermal decomposition at 450oC for 2h. The final product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). XRD pattern confirms high purity and crystallinity of Cr2O3 compound with rhombohedral crystalline phase. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed nanoparticles with diameters of 20-30 nm. UV–Vis absorption measurements indicated that the band gap of the Cr2O3 nanoparticle is 4.5 eV. The possible growth mechanism has also been proposed.

Using the non-equilibrium Green’s function method, the spin-dependent electron transport properties of a zigzag silicene nanoribbon are studied. In the absence of exchange field, the electronic conductance can be tuned by an inhomogeneous electrical field. In this state, the nanoribbon acts as a multi-digit field effect transistor. The depositing of ferromagnetic sub layer induces exchange fields in the silicene nanoribbon. In addition, we use an inhomogeneous electrical field by applying external electric fields independently on the both edges of the silicene nanoribbon to manipulate the spin dependent electron conductance properties. We find that complete spin polarization can take place in the presence of an inhomogeneous electric field and exchange field. Here, the nanoribbon can work as a perfect spin filter. The spin direction of transmitted electrons can be easily changed by reversing the electric field direction in the edges of the silicene nanoribbon. Also, in this case, the spin polarization direction can be controlled by changing the electron Fermi energy.

In this paper, the effect of the buckled configuration on dielectric function of silicene is investigated. The behavior of the optical absorption spectrum and the refractive index dispersion are studied using the density functional theory in terms of incident photon energy at different buckling heights. Results are shown that for the fixed bond length, increasing the buckling height in unit cell increases the absorption and the refractive index. In addition, their peaks shift toward the longer wavelengths red shift. For this, the behavior of the optical absorption spectrum and refractive index dispersion at different buckling heights are illustrated. Reducing the band gap with increasing the buckling height is the physical interpretation of the behaviors.

In the present work, ZnO nanopyramids are produced by a colloidal synthesis. The Oleic acid was used as the ligand for stabilizing and agent for pyramid-shape of nanoparticles. The results showed that increase in reaction time caused diversity in size distribution and lead to far away from pyramid shape. The XRD and TEM results showed that the wurtzite crystalline structure nanopyramids were produced with an average size 10 nm and uniformity in size distribution. In order to avoid the adverse effects of ligand on changing the properties of ZnO layer of nanoparticles formed by spin coating method on the solar cell substrate annealing operation for removing of the ligand, was used. TGA results showed that annealing temperature of about 400 ○C is suitable and changing environment from N2 to O2 does not make much difference. The SEM result and transmission spectrum showed that for thickness of around 100 nm, the transparency is appropriate.
