    The aim of this study is to investigate the influencing factor on consumers’ intentions towards purchasing Islamic hotel service. It also investigates the moderating influence of religiosity on these relationships. Data collected using the survey method and 200 usable questionnaires were received from respondents. Regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis. The results show a positive and significant relationship between halal awareness, norms and attitude. It also shows that there are non-significant relationships between brand image and price and consumers ‘intentions toward purchasing Islamic hotel service. The study indicates that religiosity has a moderating effect on the relationships between the factors (halal awareness and subjective norms) and consumers’ intentions towards purchasing Islamic hotel service. By understanding the relationship among the constructs in the research model, hotel managers could improve consumer intention. They can focus on the halal awareness, subjective norm and religiosity in their marketing activities.

    This study examines the influence of exchange rate volatility on foreign direct investment flows to the Nigeria economy. The study employs the ARCH, GARCH and EC models to analyze time series data for the period 1970 to 2016. The study established the stationarity of the data series and carried out the cointegration tests. The result of the study reveals that exchange rate volatility tends to persist throughout the study period. The findings of the study established empirical evidence to support the views that exchange rate volatility has a negative and significant influence on foreign direct investment inflows to Nigeria. The study demonstrates that increase in inflation exerts a negative effect on foreign direct investment inflows to Nigeria. The results of the analysis revealed that trade openness and interest rate have a positive influence on FDI in Nigeria. Thus, it is important for the government to muster the political will with efforts to create a stable environment to boost domestic production of export commodities and investment inflows. In addition, it is imperative for the government through its regulatory agencies to pursue a sound exchange rate regime with good policies and programs that would encourage investments in the economy.

    Managers smooth profits for any reasons. One of the core objectives in earnings management is to create a more stable flow in order to support higher level of interest payable. More stable profit flow may view as lower risk, which may lead to higher stock price and less cost of borrowing. Earnings management also focuses on enterprise management inclination to enhance investors’ expectation and to reduce firm’s risk. Due to increased profit stability and reduced fluctuations, investors may provide more accurate prediction on future profits. The present research studies the effect of information asymmetry and mutual funds ownership on earnings management among companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. Research statistical population included all mutual funds during 2011-2016. This is an applied study in term of purpose; and it is essentially a descriptive-correlation study. The present research analyzes earnings management through using Dechow and Dichev model. The model deals with the relationship between accruals and cash flows to measure earnings management. Research results showed that information asymmetry has no effect on earnings management. In addition, there is a significant relationship between funds classification and earnings management, which may influence earnings management. Research results may be applied for all listed companies, investors, and stock exchange.

    This study examines the main determinants of balance of payments for Pakistan and annual Time series data for the period 1981-2016 is analyzed. The study employs bounds testing approach to cointegration in auto regressive distributed lags framework. The factors as Money supply, domestic credit, exchange rate, and gross domestic product are incorporated in the model to check the claim of monetary and Keynesian approaches to balance of payments in Pakistan. Whereas foreign direct investment is included on the basis of a few empirical studies that have found significant association between balance of payments and foreign direct investment. The investigation reveals a long-run association in the model. Negative as well as highly significant value of coefficient with error correction term shows that convergence to equilibrium will take place within one year time period. However, Money supply and Gross domestic products are proved to be significant factors causing fluctuations in balance of payments in the long-run. Whereas remaining variables including real effective exchange rate are ineffective in determining the balance of payments in Pakistan. The study concludes that monetary approach seems to be dominant in Pakistan and effective monetary policy is required to correct disequilibrium in balance of payments.

    This study examined the influence of employer attractiveness, corporate reputation, and the use of social media towards intention to apply for a job at Schneider Electric Indonesia. This study used quantitative research with multiple regression model. There were 100 fresh graduate students selected randomly as respondents of the research. The findings of this study showed that employer attractiveness, corporate reputation, and the use of social media has significant influence toward Intention to apply for a job at Schneider Electric Indonesia. The result also showed that employer attractiveness, corporate reputation had significant influence, while the use of social media did not give a significant influence with intention to apply for a job.

    In capital markets, corporate governance mechanisms are used as valuation criteria in dynamic markets to assess corporate value. The mechanisms concentrating on ownership structures, regulatory processes, and auditing try to improve corporate performance and to create value for stakeholders. The present research studied the effect of institutional ownership as ownership structure mechanism under price-to-earnings ratio on the performance and efficiency of companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange in 92 sample companies over an 8-year period within 2006-2013. Analysis of research hypotheses show that there is no significant difference between abnormal return of companies with small and large institutional ownership, and low-, intermediate-, and high price-to-earnings ratios. Evaluation of research models over three regression models indicates that institutional ownership for companies with low price-to-earnings ratio has no effect on performance through assessed normal return, abnormal return, and net profit. Further, assessing three other regression models demonstrates that institutional ownership in companies with high price-to-earnings ratio also showed no effect on performance through normal return, abnormal return, and assessed net profit.

    Studies reveal that around millions of people across the world have become chronic to stress and are suffering from various psychological and physical problems. Some consequences of prolonged stress can even subdue life. Stress can emerge due to various reasons concerned with our everyday life. However, not all stresses are negative and hampering. Stress in a more constructive form can sometimes act as a positive source to trigger passion towards work, reduce dysfunctions, promote talent and abilities and ignite inspirations. Today countless professionals come across stress of various forms surfaced through diverse reasons. High amount of pressure to meet deadlines, work overload, less sleep, the urge to stay ahead of competition are the basic reasons to name a few. The fact that stress can coil both personal and professional life is not untrue. Rather, there is a growing concern for stress today in every aspect of life. The focus of the current study is on soft skills and its approach towards numerous work place problems and their solutions, mainly stress. However, the paper also deals and determines the root causes of its origin. It also emphasizes on the various techniques that determine to overcome stress mainly at workplace hence promoting wellbeing and emotional freedom.
