the losses in DVR has direct relationship to its performance i.e. there is no disturbance that it has been considered in the normal functioning of the network and in the presence of conflict (compensation time). A main determinant factor of the amount of losses after arrangement of power system which is related to control system. The control system is divided to two important parts: voltage references and switching patterns. the design of control system for DVR so to be performed while compensation of voltage sag, voltage swell, Harmonic voltage, limiting fault current and compensation of voltage unbalance has minimal loss and highest accuracy. In this paper, the loss in the proposed DVR and several samples of them through generation of the voltage references and different pattern switching are reviewed and compared. The simulation results of PSCAD/EMTDC software show the accuracy and speed of proposed DVR.

Due to increase the variable energy supply resources, importance of environmental issues, limited electricity, fuel supplies for remote rural areas and etc., the importance of using renewable energy sources such as hydropower, wind energy, solar energy, thermal energy and etc., considered more than before. In this study with considered load variation and increasing fuel price, we proposed a hybrid system to generate electricity for a rural remote area, kharvan south khorasan, Iran. In order to achieve this goal by Homer simulation software, we analyzed economical dimensions by the optimal combination of power plants such as diesel, photovoltaic, wind power and energy storage in different electrical load and fuel price with sensitive analysis and calculate the payback period. The reduction of environmental pollution is another issue that has a direct relationship with higher solar and wind power using level. Finally It should be noted that renewable resources usage priority hardly depends on locational climate potential.

Nowadays, the use of renewable energy sources or other energy sources to replace non-renewable energy sources, has been welcomed by many groups of people or companies. One of the various forms of this energy can be use energy that is produced by humans. In this paper we will outline an approach to use of human energy resources to power our Gym. We will initially define human energy, followed by a brief history of the use of this energy and also we will study the use of human energy by providing the framework for the use of the consumed energy in the gym. And also by supply introduced statistics about the number of Gym in Tehran (as an example) and approximate calculation of power consumption, we will focus on new methods to show the importance of power supply of Gym. At the end of this article we will introduce new solution for power supply of Gym which uses the energy that is generated by athletes, the power supply uses the fitness machines, which we will refer to them in the final section.

Finding of optimal location and capacity for storage units have been highly noticed in modern power systems. In this paper, the optimal location and capacity of a storage unit is determined by an analytical technique in order to acquire the maximum profit. Target function is a single- variable function in which by its derivation the conditions required for maximization of profit are identified. In target function, all costs and earnings have been introduced as functions of nominal power of storage unit and thereby the capacity of storage unit and location for its installation is derived.
This technique has been simulated on a 12-bus distribution network by means of MATLAB software. The authenticity of the derived results from the purposed analytical methods has been verified by review all possible modes for installation and determination of capacity for storage unit in this grid.

This paper deals with all types of pollutions occurring in electric power line insulators. In many different references including IEEE standards and various articles, a list of different types of pollutions have been introduced. However, the mentioned list is not complete and some other cases should also be added to that list. In this paper, all parts of an insulator are introduced and different types of insulator pollutions and the reasons behind existence of such pollutants are identified as well. Furthermore, appropriate pictures for various types of insulator pollutions are provided to give an accurate understanding of these pollutions for future works, and also make us able to adopt preventive measures according to the type of pollution in order to reduce or remove the pollution resources of insulators and other system equipment. Moreover, with the aim of washing polluted insulators, these pictures help us to choose a suitable fluid with low costs, significant clearing feature and the one that is desirable for environmental applications.

Solar photovoltaic (SPV) system is reliable and it receives energy infinitely to utilize sustainable life. Photovoltaic panels are available to satisfy the demands of the residential load as well as industrial load. Solar PV system is designed for different electric power utilization plant. Lack of electricity transportation is one of the obstacles in the development of rural India, which leads to power shut down very often in those places. People could not utilize electricity continuously, so the requirement of an alternate source is more. The Indian government has recognized the solar PV projects for the rural areas as a standalone or grid tied system. This paper has proposed to design a solar PV system plant for residential loads in a rural area at Trichy located in Tamil Nadu, India which is taken as a case study. A Boost Derived Hybrid Converter (BDHC) is a single input dual output converter which is used to design DC link as well as AC link for the residential load system. This BDHC produces AC and DC outputs simultaneously from the solar PV input system. SPV residential system consists of a 250W solar PV array, the battery bank, charge controller, BDHC and AC, DC plugs for the residential loads. MATLAB/Simulink software is utilized to design the entire power circuit and to analyze the active and reactive power and efficiency of the system. It is found that the BDHC with solar PV input for the residential load in the rural zone provides the minimized switching for simple AC and DC line and cost effective compared to other conservative energy sources.
