Pages 9-14In this article, the generalized progressive type II censoring design (right censoring) is introduced. Then the likelihood function for such censored variables is derived and it is precisely determined for the exponential distribution case. The derived maximum likelihood estimator has no closed form, so the estimate is achieved by the numerical "False Position" method. Finally, a suitable confidence interval for the parameter of the exponential distribution is constructed in the form of a theorem. Keywords: Maximum Likelihood Estimator, Exponential Distribution, Progressive Type II Censoring, Survival Function, False Position Method

Pages 15-30Normality hypothesis and independence of residuals are the usual assumptions for re- gression models. But in practice, sometimes we are faced with non- negative autocorrelated residuals case.
This paper discuss the problem of model selection for regression model with non-negative autoregressive residuals, Among the non-negative distributions, we consider, Gamma,Weibull, Log-normal distributions as rival models. We have derived the modified maximum likelihood estimators as efficient alternative for estimating model parameters. Finallyý, ýusing simulation,we try to choose the optimal regression model with non-negative autoregressive residuals by comparing the ability of some model selection criteriaý.Keywords: Autoregressive Modelý, ýKullback-Leibler Informationý, ý Model Selection Criteriaý, ýModified Maximum Likelihoodý, Regression Model -
Pages 31-42Statistical hypothesis testing of ordered mean vectors Against all hypotheses on the means vector in multivariate normal distributions is considered. This problem of testing is investigated for known variance covariance matrices and unknown, but equal variance covariance matrices. When the covariance matrices are known, the test statistic is derived and upper bound of p-value is obtained. When the covariance matrices are completely unknown and equal, a test statistic based on the orthogonal projections on the closed convex cones is proposed and the null distribution of the test statistic derived. The critical values are estimated using simulation method. Also, the results are presented with application examples. Keywords: Closed Convex Cone, Multivariate Normal Distribution, Ordered Means Hypothesis Testing, Simulation, Test Statistic

Pages 43-54The aim of this study was to compare fitting of different discrete bivariate beta-binomial distributions based on correlation between marginal variables. The models included bivariate beta-binomial distribution proposed by Bibby and Væth (2011) (with three parameters), Danaher and Hardie (2005) (with five parameters) and generalized model of the classical bivariate beta-binomial distribution proposed by Olmo - Jimenez et al. (2011). Based on results obtained from goodness of fit test, Olmo - Jimenez et als model was found to be more appropriate than other models when correlation between marginal variables was high. Also Danaher and Hardies model were found to be more appropriate than other models when correlation between marginal variables was low. The results were presented by using three real data set. Keywords: Goodness of Fit Test, Bivariate Beta-Binomial Distribution, Correlation Between Marginal Variables

Pages 55-66In this paper, by using a Cramer - Rao inequality we obtained a lower bound minimax risk based on a random sample of random stopping time, in a condition of the truncated parameter space.
Finally, as applications, we obtained minimax estimators under censored data, Koziol - Green model and exponential distribution family. Keywords: Minimax Estimator_Censored Data_Koziol - Green Model_Stopping Time -
Pages 67-73This paper first introduces Delaporte and first type Luders Formel models. Then these models are considered as stationary marginal distributions for first-order integer valued autoregressive processes. After that, the higher order integer - valued autoregressive processes are considered. Various features of these models such as regressive behavior, time reversible and etc. are studied. Also Simulation studies for study of sample paths in these models were done. Finally, the model parameters were estimated and the two models are compared via a real data set. Keywords: Delaporte Distribution_Luders Formel Distribution_First Order Integer – Value Autoregressive Processes
