Repetition in the Emotional Meanings and Artistic Language of Sa di's Lyric Poems (Ghazals)

The logical order and sequence among the objects and events in different areas، and in particular، in the field of imagination is followed by some special beauty and attractiveness. The presence of repetition in the construction and form of the poem intensifies the aesthetic value of the poem، especially when repetition occurs in the poem of a creative and innovative poet like Sa’di. The present article، using the frequency analysis method investigates repetition in the emotional meanings، images، allusions، as well as the music of Sa’di’s lyric poems. The article aims at presenting the repetition cases in the poet’s lyric poems as well as explaining the fact that repetition in his poems has not resulted in the poetical torpidity and stagnation، but the very repetition has promoted the representation of the meaning and the emotional objectivity of his speech.
