The comparison and analysis of the subject matter, images, and interpretations of death in poems of Sohrab Sepehri and Fereidoon Tavallali

In this article، after referring to the history of death themes in areas of myth، religions، and poems of some great Persian literature poets، the subject matters، images، and interpretations of death in poems of Sohrab Sepehri and Fyrydoon Tavallali will be studied and analyzed. The results of the findings of this comparison are as follows: 1- From Sohrab Sepehri’s point of view، death means life perpetuation، inseparable part، and holy condition of life. But from Tavallali’s point of view it is the end of existence and the cause of being released from life difficulties. 2-In Sepehri’s poems death is portrayed with an optimistic view and the world after death is welcomed، and the heart of the images beats with lively elements and life-giving nature. in Tavallali’s poems death is introduced with an unfavorable visage and the elements of the image bring to mind a kind of destruction and death.
