The Clergymen and Islamizing Knowledge

One of the main characteristics of the knowledge system of the clergymen is that they look at life from the perspective of religion. Due to their relation with the Islamic revelation, the clergymen always try to reinterpret the believer's knowledge and life according to Islamic traditions. This motivation has been increased and deepened after the Islamic revolution of Iran and the clergymen have become more determined to Islamize all aspects of human's life. Knowledge and episteme is one of the subjects that they have always been sensitive to reconstruct based on religious norms in this new life which is studied in five main approaches: "traditional approach", "purificational approach", "foundational approach", "modernism approach", "religious modernism approach".
