Determining the Best Spatial Points for Stationing Tehran Police Centers Using GIS (A case study: Tehranpars area)

Law and order play significant roles in case of social and natural disasters. The police centers which act as the maintainers of law and order in such case must be located in places where they can reach disaster centers immediately.The present study tries to explore the factors affecting the process of stationing Tehran Police centers in the best spatial points using MCE and GIS. A New special point has been determined as the best spatial point for the police forces in Tehranpars area.The findings of the study demonstrated that the present spatial situation of Tehranpars police centers is not suitable and is vulnerable to crises and disasters.
