Strategic planning for information resources and services in school libraries

Strategic planning for improved usage of information resources and services in school libraries is a research conducted to design a structure in such libraries. This research sets out to present a written and functional plan for school libraries in the use of available resources and facilities, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of these libraries, and finally to develop some guides to prepare an appropriate and usable strategic plan in the process of development such libraries. The research was conducted through studying standard stages in strategic planning and comparing it against the strategic planning for information resources and services in school libraries. Such plan could organize the professional operations in school libraries.
