Investigating the role of Border-community cooperatives in Regional Development Planning, The case study of Darmian Coopratve in Southern khorasan Province

Development and security are two requirement of human life today. Together providing welfare for a regions inhabitant. In the meantime the border regions of our country are not exempted from these two important matters. As a major part of regions development is depend on the internal economic condition of that region. Cooperatives section as one of a triple-component of the economic system has been trying to achieve this important matter، by founding Border-community cooperatives borders man zone. Security can play important role in stable land development، as representatives of border lines inhabitants’. 12 such Border-community cooperatives have been founded. At Southern Khorasan province having more than 430 K. M common border with Afghanistan. In this research Darmiyan Border-community cooperative in Darmiyan-selected as a case basis- is working in the two sub-districts Gazeek and Tabas-e- Masina. Along with providing questionnaires’ for the managers of some cooperatives of the province. The member of those cooperatives have been analyzed on a fieldwork basis by qualities and quantities approaches/ At the conclusion chapter، the research by using hypotheses an affirming them، has used strategic planning method and SWOT analysis and has stated different scenarios for these cooperatives in the zone. And some strategies، objectives and goal have been selected، among different scenarios، and have been presented as superior ones. The sequences of this research are showing meaningful relation between variables of investigation and have been confirm all of hypotheses in this study. Major suggestion have been specified this region by the use of these strategies، hoping to be used according to the research functionality.
