A study of the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational learning (Case of: Saipa Company)
The prerequisite for continuous organizational change in today’s dynamic and ever changing environments is the presence of intuitive, strategic or in a more clear sense, transformational leaders. Because of increasing attention to the leadership factor in creating organizational evolution, and leaders’ role in organizational learning, this research attempts to examine the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational learning through correlation research method. With this aim, 138 expert staff from SAIPA Co was randomly selected. Research data was collected using questionnaire and SPSS Software was utilized for data analysis. Obtained results showed that a positive and meaningful relationship exists between the components of transformational leadership and organizational learning. Moreover, idealized influence (behavior), a dimension of transformational leadership, was known to be the most important predictor in organizational learning.
