The impact of place identity on the National Convergence

Place as the center of geography has mixed with social, political, economic, processes and natural elements. Diversity and long-term accompaniment of them in direction and meaning have a fundamental role in human's effort and attitude people living it. Geographers have focused on Interaction between place and identity of people living in from past to present in concepts such as geography determinism (environment), environmental perception, and behavioral geography. In recent decades, Threats arising from the identity conflicts and Efforts to maintain national unity and territorial cohesion have been considered concepts such as place identity, sense of place, belong to space in Process of national Convergence and political units place symbolization. This paper with explanatory approach has examined different dimensions of coherence and entanglement the location and identity in place symbolism and National Convergence.
