A Cultural Perspective toward Education, Curriculum, and Learning

This article shortly introduces a cultural approach toward education. It should be considered just as an introduction to the subject discussed here not anymore because each of the issues discussed needs to be examine in detail and independently. To follow the article aim I have firstly differentiated and discussed political, economical, social and cultural approaches. Then I have explained the epistemological and social and historical contexts of the cultural approach of education. In the third section I have focused on all dimensions of cultural approach of education and tried to examine main questions on this issue. The final section of this article discusses the state of the cultural approach to education in Iranian education studies and discourses.
