Combination of IT and Cell Phone in Designing an Intelligent System for Traffic and Parking Management

This paper is a research about optimization of the parking management system using information technology, to find smart solutions in a way drivers achieve adequate parking and the capacity of network being increased. In this regard, a population of drivers randomly selected and then by using interviews, questionnaires and case studies, the parking issues and their problems have been extracted. In the next step, by ranking the parameters, some solutions for optimizing the parking management system are introduced. Finally, the results of these studies and strategies were presented in the design of an intelligent system based on IT and cell phone network for delivering traffic services.
