Proper Nouns in the Sanskrit Translation of Dādestān ī Mēnōg ī Xrad

“Dādestān ī Mēnōg ī Xrad” is a text in Middle Persian and contains sixty-three chapters. This book belongs to the genre of advice literature. Nēryōsang translated it into Sanskrit in the 14th century. Nēryōsang’s Sanskrit is a word-for-word translation and cannot be understood without referring to the Middle Persian text; its characteristics differentiate it from Classical Sanskrit and make it similar to Iranian Languages.
