Sudabeh, a survivor of the Mother of God

The purpose of the present article was to show that “Soudabeh” in her mythical old structure was a “Mother Of Gods” and in the primitive version of “Soudabeh & Siavash” story, she was Siavash's mythical mother, not his stepmother.During thousands of years this character had changed extremely and finally reached our era with the features we could see in the “Shahnameh of Ferdowsi”.In this research, the hypothesis which had been already given about Soudabeh were considered and differences and similarities of the researcher’s with them were mentioned. The method of the research was comparative mythology which was applied to compare Soudabeh's character to her other similar characters in other nations. Moreover, to prove this hypothesis, other reasons were mentioned, such as the unknown identity of Siavash's mother in the Shahnameh, the matriarchal and un-Zoroasterian characteristics of this story as well as two different faces of Soudabeh in the Shahnameh.
