A Study of the Aesthetics of Persian Art in Ilam Rock-engravings in Izeh Region

Abstract:
Ilam civilization was the first one which was generated in Iran. It contained Current Khoosestan, parts of Lorestan, Isfahan, Kerman, south of Fars and Booshehr. This civilization was managed by different governments during 25 centuries. Since it was ruled by a federal system, whenever it became weak because of the dispute with Mesopotamia neighbors, the mountainous part with Anzan (current Izeh) center continued its political existence and made a new government with Shoush center. This article introduced the artworks of Ilam in its mountainous part and then found some features of Persian art from Izeh stone-engravings. The method of the research was descriptive analysis and the data were gathered based on the library and field methods.
