Evaluation of quantity and quality limitation in extention use of water resource in Zahedan-e Fassa plain

Zahedan plain is one of subbasins of Mond river that placed in Fars province. The area of this basin is 1246 km2. This research investigated abaut surface and ground water resource and waterbalance in Zahedanplain. Thus total recharge of aquifer is 415. 242 MCM and total volume discharge is 423. 127 MCM and mean annual decrease of aquifer volume is -7. 854 MCM. In the recent year because of drought and increase of usage of water resource، water level decrasing. Due to the ban of on the plains and calculation negative balance of the plain and comparable in water level of aquifer. There isnot possibility development of aquifer in this area and inother to supply drinking and industrial water needs، in this area can be proceeded from changing users of the wells from agriculture to drinking and industrial water and or via water supply from Salman farsi s dam. There is driking water limitation because of water resourles quality of Zahedan plain، in the southern parts of plain afftected by Razak plaster-marni formation in terms of soulfate ion and overall more than 60 percent of plain water have inadequate to bad quality. Water resources of this plain have tip chloride sodium. The total avrege of dissolved salts is equal to 3078 Mg per liter and the average electrical conductivity is equal to 4707 microsiemens per cm that indicating poor quality of water plain
