3D-Modeling of the Buried Nasr Abad-eKashan Salt Structure Fornatural Gasstorage Feasibility

NasrAbad-eKashansaltstructure locates in Central Iran Basin، which is important fromitsstrategic and geographic situation. As it isa buriedsaltstructuresogeophysical and structural studiesarean integrated part ofexploration activities. Geodatabaseis a combination of seismic، wellandgravity data together with geological information/data. Seismic interpretation along with gravity and well data analyses suggest that the salt structure origin is related to Lower Red Formationevaporites. 3D-modelingof salt structure was created by geostatisticalmethodsandPetrel software. In order to gasstorageprojects، estimation of saltvolume and the origin of salt is necessary، which were presented by calculation of salt volume،surface geology evidence and deeper information data along withtheir relationship.
