Content Analysis of Chief's Viewpoints on Sport Components (1969-2009)

Abstract:
The aim of the research was to investigate the content analysis of Physical Education Organization chiefs’ viewpoints on sport components from 1357 to 1388. 325 reports on Physical Education Organization chiefs were gathered from Ettela’at newspaper and were investigated by whole counting sampling. For content analysis, researcher-made coding sheet was used and the validity and reliability were determined and approved. Results revealed no significant difference in chiefs’ viewpoints on championships and professional sport while there was a significant difference in their viewpoints on educational sports and recreational-public. Due to the high volume of viewpoints on professional and championship sports, and the role of these chiefs’ viewpoints in providing attitudes and efforts in these areas, it seems that authorities should pay more attention to educational and recreational-public sports. It is recommended that the comments of professional consultants be used in lectures and comments in the areas mentioned so that the literature of authorities can improve accordingly.
