The aim of this study was to survey employees’ readiness working in physical education offices in west and East Azerbaijan and Ardebil provinces for accepting total quality management (TQM). The study was a descriptive survey and the sample consisted of 125 employees (45 females and 80 males) working in physical education offices of the three mentioned provinces. Spinwall (1994) questionnaire including ten variables of TQM (each variable consisted of four questions) was used to collect data. The reliability of the questionnaire was determined as 0.84 using alpha Cronbach method. Descriptive statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA and Kruskal – Wallis test (P≤0.05) were used to analyze data. Results showed that the employees from three selected provinces had a high level of readiness to accept TQM (mean: 128.42). There was a significant difference in TQM acceptance among employees with different job careers (P≤0.05). Also, there was only a significant difference in continuous improvement variable among the employees of three provinces.
