Designing a model for integrating management systems

The purpose of this article is to design a model for integrating management systems in organizations. The most significant integrating models in the existing literature were reviewed، strength and weaknesses of these models were compared and finally a model was adopted. Thismodel incorporates most of the strengths of former models in the literature. The “Integrated Management System” model، proposed in this study، is based on common features of three main management systems: quality management system ISO 9001، environmental management system ISO 14001، and occupational health and safety management system OHSAS 18001. The contribution of the model proposed in this paper is that it combines all the clauses and sub-clauses of the standards mentioned above. This model also develops a new integrated management system.
