The Role of Innovation Skills Learning in Development of Knowledge Innovation in Medical Sciences Group

Abstract:
Background And Objective
The most important step to implementation of an innovation system in any institution is achieving a comprehensive organizational perception of innovation. Due to the expansion of innovation activities, there is a learning requirement for innovation techniques and their evaluation. This research surveyed the steps for learning the innovation skills and their role in dynamics of medical sciences.
Methods
This research was a cross sectional and descriptive- analytical study. The research was conducted among 24 faculties of Tehran University of Medical Sciences participating in a workshop on innovation skills. We used a pre-post test questionnaire that consisted of 20 elements about educational subjects of the workshop.
Results
The results showed a significant progress of participants’ knowledge in innovation skills from 58.62 to 63.65.
Conclusion
The results of this research show the success of a workshop to improve innovation knowledge among participants. This information might help the health care decision makers for compilation of strategic plans related to innovation skills and knowledge sharing.
