A Model for Acceptance Of Electronic Learning In Iran's Universities

Abstract:
The main purpose of the study is to propose and examine a conceptual model for acceptance of electronic learning in the country's universities; so regarding its nature it is a descriptive/survey research. The conceptual model of the study was designed by a process of investigation of existing models and identification of effective variables on electronic learning, and it was examined in the form of 4 hypotheses and 8 sub-hypotheses by studying attitudes of university's students that were educating in the electronic learning system presented in the country's universities.The results showed these four variables, the infrastructures of information technology, the quality of education system, the structure of student's behavior, and the structure of professor's behavior, respectively, with the average score of 6.744, 6.485, 6.354, and 6.153 were accepted and ranked from 1 to 4 at reliability level of 99%. Meanwhile developed and updated technologies and suitable organizational and administrative processes were identified as the most important indexes and truthfulness in solving the problems and satisfaction of available facilities were identified as the less important indexes in the process of acceptance of electronic learning. Also this study showed that the perceived profitability rather than the perceived ease of use has a stronger relation to the four variables of the research in the examined model; and on the other side the relations of all examined variables except the structure of professor's behavior with acceptance of electronic learning, the perceived profitability and the perceived ease of use were improved as the level of education increased.
