Abstract:
In this study, 12 livers of One-humped camel (6 each sex) were obtained from Esfahan abattoir. The glands washed and cleaned from lymphatic nodes, adipose and additional tissues. The colored resin polyacrylic polyvinyl and latex were injected via portal vein and hepatic artery and the casts of these vessels were studied. The anatomical and morphological results showed that the lobulation of the liver in the one-humped camel is similar to that of the two-humped camel and contains right, quadrate, left, small portal and caudate lobes. Portal vein in camel was divided into five branches contained cranial, caudal, right, left and dorsal veins. Each branch produced smaller branches. Hepatic artery was divided into two right and left branches. The right branch is divided into six fine branches, while the left branch into fourteen fine branches.
