Apposition and Appositives in Persian and Arabic: A Comparative Perspective

Abstract:
In this paper the authors have attemtted to investisate snntactic is sue related to appositives in Arabic snntat an well as Persian grammar. Then from the standpoint of contrastice analysis, the locus of then issner in each grammar has been explained. Mone over, the similaritte and difference of appositive and in Arabic Persian have been wed to support the argument. How ever, wherever impossible, equivalent from and example have been provided.
