Media imperialism; challenges and Educational responsibilities

The lack of media literacy and also media imperialism are challenging the moral and educational values in societies. Transnational media, including the Internet tries to dominant values of Western societies, and their efforts or their results are that, some of the values became some non-values in societies. The most important causes of this problem are secularist principles of transnational media and their material approaches. Artistic practices in the use of media to develop moral values, avoiding the use of foreign symbols of cultures, and also emphasizing immoral and unhealthy aspects of non-Islamic cultures in the media, are some suggested ways for can be confronting imperialism.
