A Comparative Study of Programs of Fighting Against Drugs in Several Countries

Drug smuggling is a universal problem and experts believe that World Community should participate in eradicating it like other crises of 21st Century (including WMD, poverty and destruction of environment).Bilateral judicial, legal and international cooperation is needed to combat drug smuggling effectively worldwide.Production, distribution and abuse of drugs has imposed extensive harms against all societies so that many experts relate majority of crimes in recent decades to rapid increase of drug abuse and its consequent social damages. This article seeks to investigate situation of drugs in Iran and other countries and their efforts and provide practical solutions for combating ad reducing drug consumption in Iran.
