Author(s):
Abstract:
This paper seeks to investigate comparatively the bases of a sort of recognition in social human life which was coined as sociology by Auguste Comte for the first time، (1798-1858) and Ibn Khaldoon made the same attempt to introduce the science of development about 600 years ago. What differentiates the recognition of sociology from the kinds of knowledge about society such as social ideologies or social philosophies، which have a long history in human thought،is the awareness and recognition of social affairs and its study as the social actuality. Another element which distinguishes this kind of knowledge from other social thoughts is the methods of study of this actuation. This paper proceeds to prove that the development knowledge which was formed differentiates from the origin of sociology in the West in cultural-historical aspect،but in purpose and method،it presented a new thought and notion in studying development in human life.
