Analyze of Factors Affecting Learning of Triple Knowledge: among Yasouj University agricultural graduates

The aim of this study was to analyze factors affecting learning of triple (theoretical, practical and coping) knowledge among agricultural graduates of Yasouj University. Survey research method with a 13 parts questionnaire was used in this study. Either validity or reliability of the questionnaire was verified. Research population was agricultural graduates of Yasouj University from 2007 to 2010 that 201 ones of them were selected as research sample using systematic random sampling. After sending questionnaire to postal addresses of the supposed graduates, about 136 questionnaires were returned. Results showed that based on graduate's view, development of different kinds of knowledge are considered moderately in faculty curriculum. Correlation analysis showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between some predictor factors i.e. theoretical knowledge development, practical knowledge development, and educational equipment in one hand and coping knowledge as response variable in the other hand. Also, regression analysis showed that factors such as educational equipment, continuing education in higher levels (graduate studies), daily study amount, and general course's teachers are the main variables that explain about 38.2 percent of changes in coping knowledge variance as dependent variable. Moreover, variables such as theoretical knowledge, teaching methods in specialized courses, age, equipment, and teaching methods in basic courses explain about 48.4 percent of changes in practical knowledge variance. Finally with regard to this point that coping knowledge is on a higher level in comparison to two other forms of knowledge, it is recommended that university colleges pay more attention to development of this kind of knowledge in their curriculum.
