Epistemological Investigation of Islamic Lifestyle

The current study does not aim to recognize Islamic lifestyle, but it assesses the epistemology of lifestyle in this field and other similar fields. Epistemology of compound words such as lifestyle is complicated and requires lots of attention which cannot be literally described. This study investigates the reasons for failure of developing a model of Islamic lifestyle through the assessment of three following issues: secular modeling, the role of presuppositions, intellectual domain of Islamic scholars, normative and descriptive Unitarianism or Pluralism in Islamic lifestyle. Undeniably, each theorist has some presuppositions when applying a lifestyle, since they have some conceptual and concessive biases; therefore, they are consciously or unconsciously imposed on chosen theories. This article intends to evaluate the essence of Islamic lifestyle from the perspectives of scepticism, correctness, and plurality in order to answer the research’s questions and model a lifestyle based on believable epistemological investigations.
