Message:
Abstract:
The survivals of the human generation and his health are dependent on benefit from a healthy environment and having various animal species. Animals are the most important part of ecology which their rights have been concentrated by the environmental defense more than any other creatures. Making adequate provision of water and food، verifiable biological and psychological conditions and the need for access to healthcare are the most important animal rights. On the one hand، by the local law، the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran relies on the environmental protection as a public duty، on the other hand، not only the chapter VI of the civil law approved in 1304 dedicated to hunting، but also consideration is given to the protection of animal species by the criminal law requirements under the provision of the acts 679 and 680. There، in the realm of international law، approximately half a century ago، in the field of environmental protection and animal rights، several international documents have been concluded. The present study seeks to investigate the position of Iranian legal system in support of animals relying on international documents which are related to environmental law and suggests ways to surmount obstacles.
