The effect of police postgraduate studies on the student's vocational success

Today, the organizations managers assume the education and human resources development as their most essential tasks in renovation of organizations so that they try to upraise the professional skill of their employees through education and coordinate their job performance. Thus, the objective of this study is to investigate the effect of training master’s degree course on police force on the students’ vocational success. This study with respect to the nature is a descriptive-correlative survey and an applied study with respect to the objective. The sampling population consists of all graduates of master’s degree in police force in the first, second, third and fourth courses equal to 67 persons as well as another population including 67 commanders, presidents and principals. All of samples have been selected and questionnaire was designed and presented by the researcher. The findings of this study shows that a significant relationship exists between variables including specialized, major and research courses and their vocational success. Their vocational success is predictable according to all courses of master’s degree (major, specialized and research) by means of regression. The summary of this study indicated that among the courses presented in postgraduate studies course on police force, research course 46%, specialized course 39% and major course 36% respectively express the vocational success of M.Sc. students in police force. In fact, this summary demonstrates that the content of presented courses have been compiled based on research findings and academic criteria.
