The Role of Social Prevention in Reducing Crimes and Macroeconomic Corruption

Problem and this research seeks to investigate the role of social prevention and to clarify its parameters in reducing crimes and macroeconomic corruptions. this research is of implicational type and it has been conducted in descriptive-analytical method. The data were collected by means of documentations and survey methods. In order to ensure the validity of the questionnaire, some in-depth interviews with some managers, detectives, and the authorities of criminal investigations for economic crimes have been administered. The sample size was measured using Cochrane 93 formula and they were selected via systematic method from among police experts and scholars (To ensure the completions of the questionnaire, 120 questionnaires were distributed and 101 ones were completed by the respondents. Then, they were set as the basis of analyses). The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics and SPSS software. The findings and the findings indicated that all of the social preventive indicators separated from their members have a significant relationship with economic crime indicators and the indicators of trust in God spirit, promoting religious beliefs, promoting the culture of satisfaction, and promoting the spirit of sticking with law are most effective in social prevention of economic crimes. One of the important results of this study is the prevention of criminal incentives which is within the social prevention of crime and it is a fundamental and underlying issue. Therefore, the short-term and long-term planning and policy making by the pillars of Islamic regime are undeniable requirements in this context.
