Considerations about the Marriage of an Adopted Child with his/her Adopter

After the ratification of “Protection of children and adolescent without a guardian or with an unqualified guardian” bill the issue of marriage of the adopted child with his/her adopter has become a controversial issue in scientific sessions, media and cyberspace. The current article studies the reasons of legitimacy of an adopter’s marriage with the adopted child. Then the article explains the Islam’s stance about the institution of adoption and Islam’s stance about care giving to children without a guardian has been clarified. Then lawmaker’s performance to deal with such issues has been discussed. Finally the legitimacy of this ruling has been defended, questions have been answered and some suggestions have been offered to relieve some concerns in this regard.
