Deeds from the Perspective of Imam Ali (PBUH) and Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Message:
Abstract:
In this article first the reasons of changing religious beliefs and deeds are investigated and each reason is compared from the perspectives of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Imam Ali's (PBUH) opinions using auto ethnography and remedies are suggested to resolve each harm. The results showed that in both perspectives inattention to different developmental stages in education, conflict between preaching and actions, inappropriate praising and punishment, reluctance and compulsion, extremes and lack of close relationship among the trainer, family, and trainee are among the most important reasons of religion aversion. Despite some differences between the two perspectives in regard to some contexts and deeds, the many existing similarities indicate that the foundation that philosophers following Rousseau have based education on, was actually set 14 centuries ago By Imam Ali (PBUH) in a broader sense and has ever since been a base for educational principles and paved the way of education for people.
