Relationship between social desirability and intelligence, moral identity, age, grade at known and Anonymous conditions among university students

The aim of present investigation is studying the relationship between social desirability and intelligence, age, grade, symbolization and internalization subscales of moral identity at both known and Anonymous situations, and also social desirability gender comparing. Methode: In the first study the form A of Cattell Culture Fair Intelligence Test III, self important moral identity measure, Marlowe-Crowne social desirability scale administered on 123 students. The students didn’t write their name on the measures so the conditions were unknown and so social desirability was in the shape of self deception. In the second study 31 student respond above measures, but the participants announce their name and told them that their responding would affected on their occupational future. So the conditions were known and social desirability was in the shape of impression management. 50 students from first study matched at grade and file of study with these 31 students. The findings didn’t show the gender differences in social desirability and showed the negative relationship to symbolization. Finding also didn’t show the relationship of social desirability to internalization of moral identity, intelligence, age and grade. Finding didn’t show the differences between those two groups in social desirability and moral identity.
