Qualitative investigating the family and emotional status of chemical bombardment victims of Sardashti

Abstract:
Purpose
Aim of the present research was to Study the family and emotional status of chemical bombardment victims of Sardasht.
Method
This study is a qualitative research(the interpretative approach). 15 men and 15 women from chemical victims of Sardasht were selected as available sampling; and they were interviewed in semi-structured manner. For data analyzing, categorization and classification of data was used.
Results
The results show that the complaints such as inability to emotions expressing, mood changes, inability to interaction with others, feeling of inferiority, irritability, horrible nightmares, emotional dependence, lack of intimate relationships among family members, family disputes, marital dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction from parental roles, and unhealthy relationship with children are seen in major of victims.
Conclusion
Chemical bombarding caused many problems in the family and emotional status of the chemical bombardment victims. These people need supportive interventions from public and state institutions.
