Message:
Abstract:
In an attempt to explore the commanding model common in the units of the military organization of the I R of Iran, this applied-developmental study was conducted based on a field and correlatioanl research design. For this purpose, 35 participants including 27 high ranking generals and 11 clergymen were selected based on purposeful sampling method in order to develop a model and validate its dimensions. Moreover, 95 officers were randomly selected for the pilot study of the model followed by data collection through review of the literature and a questionnaire. The collected data were checked in terms of normality assumptions and then the Spearman correlational coefficient, two-variate and multi-variate regression analyses were conducted in order to test the research hypotheses. The findings on the validation phase revealed that three parameters including attitude, insight and personal characteristics are appropriate commanding parameters at the level of army unit. Moreover, the currently existing insight and attitude among the military commanders and managers are the products of the current professionalism and personal characteristics.
