A Study on the Nature of Implementation of Knowledge Management with Organizational Safety (a case of Imam Ali University)

Knowledge is taken as one of the most important sources of organizational capability for competition in the world market such that organizations should appreciate its value and take its advantages to find access to collective awareness and skill in order to establish a macro organizational knowledge bank. IT refers to the fact that KM not only reduces the expenses and enhances strategic flexibility but also facilitates knowledge generation and application. Holding a systematic approach, this study investigates the relationship between the implementation of KM and organizational safety. As an applied and correlational attempt, the study employed a researcher-made questionnaire to collect data from the sample including the staff members engaged in various sectors of Imam Ali University. Based on ordinal scale and given the nature of the variables, first Spearman correlation coeffiecient was run to address the relationship among the variables. Moreover, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan Test, and one-variate and multi-variate regression analyses were conducted as to the data. The findings revealed that there is some sort of direct correlation between the nature of implementation of various steps of KM and organizational safety.
