International Law and Illegitimacy of attack or threat of military attack against nuclear Installations

There is no universal binding treaty on prohibition of attack or threat to military attack، although there is some international attempts in action. This article by referring to international documents and international procedures، tries to explain and describe this prohibition and insufficiency of international law in this regard. Author critically reviews legal principles of attack or threat to attack against nuclear installation under the theory of pre-emptive self-defense and analyses paradox of this theory with principles of international law.
