Standardization of Retrospective-Prospective Memory Scale
The purpose of this study was Standardization and Normalization of Crawford et al’s (2003) Scale to determine Iranian students’ Retrospective - Prospective memory in accordance to Iranian culture.
The instrument used to measure the Retrospective -Prospective memory was the one developed by Crawford et al in (2003). The Content validity was examined and approved by some academic members and the reliability was investigated using a random sample of 382 Payam Noor University students of West Azerbaijan province. The Questions were analyzed with appropriate statistical methods of validity and reliability، cut off point، and norm scores.
Based on the results of Kolmogorov - Smirnov test، the result of the normality assumption of the data was 0. 703 at the (P ≤ 0/05) which was not significant. Therefore، we can say that the data obtained from the questionnaires distributed normally. In addition، the result of the Kaiser - Meyer - Avlkyn test was equivalent to 0. 77 and the result of Bartlett test was 1632/835 which is significant at the level of 0. 01. The amount of Cronbach''s alpha for the whole questionnaire was equivalent to 0. 83.
The test results showed high reliability for the scale.
