Investigation and Ranking of Effective Factor of Investment in Anzali Free Zone

Abstract:
Economic development requires investment in various economic sectors and activities. Today, it can’t be expected to develop production, employment and economic welfare without investment in infrastructural projects. Many countries have a strategic plan to attract foreign investment. Therefore, the creation of trade and industrial free zone is a key way to absorb investment. So, first we need to identify obstacles and effective factors on attracting and expanding investment in free Zones. The main purpose of this paper is to identify effective factors on internal and external investment in trade and industrial Anzali’s free zone. These factors are investigated by using Delphi technique and are ranked by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Findings show that there are many factors to attract internal and external investment in Anzali’s free zone, which classified them in seven main factors. These factors is derived from Delphi and AHP approach and conclude the factors of “Facilities”, “Policy Making”, “Economic”, “Laws and Regulations”, “Management”, “Protection” and “Positioning” respectively.
